Churchhill Market Fishing Contest - Current Contest

  • Signup at Churchill Market (Cambell Street/Prescott)
  • 5 Categories of Eligible Fish 
    • Smallmouth Bass)
    • Crappie
    • Catfish
  • Free to Sportsman Club Members and General Public
  • All that is required is that you measure/weigh the fish, take a picture with your fish and bring that picture in to Churchhill Market.

Other Programs:

Kickoff to Summer -Get to Know Prescott - (CURRENT)

  • We have been asked to supply an informational table at Prescott's "Get to Know" event at Freedom Park on June 19th 5-8pm.
  • J.O.E's Club will be holding a children's photography contest

State Park Photography

  • Capturing Kinnikinnic State Park in all of it's seasons through photography.

Adopt - A -Highway

  • The Prescott Sportsman's Club has adopted a Highway in the area.  Help us keep it clean quarterly.  Time, Date, and Locations to follow.

Turkey Bowl (November 2008)

  • One of our Phialthropy events throughout the year.  We will be creating a bowling lane and donators will bowl a frozen turkey (or game hen for kids) for prizes.  The event will help stock the local food shelf for the holiday season.

Learn to Hunt Turkey (Spring 2008)

  • Field - Target Shooting and Gun Handling for Youth involved in the Learn to Hunt Turkey program
  • Classroom - The Wisconsin DNR Biologist, Game Warden, and Members of the Club will provide classroom education to Youth involved in the Learn to Hunt Turkey program on Habitat, Biology, and Calls of the Wild Turkey
  • Youth Hunt - Mentors will accompany a youth on their first turkey hunt.

J.O.E's Club - 2008 Programs

  • The creation of the Junior Outdoor Enthusiast Club allows us to reach children aged 2-12n various ways to raise awareness to the outdoors in a fun atmosphere.

Member's Picnic - Summer 2008

  • With proceeds garnered from some of our fundraising activities, we will be having a members picnic, which includes member's family.

Banquet - Fall 2008

  • If you have ever been to a Sportsman's Banquet, you know what to expect...Good Food, Great Prizes, and Lots of Fun.

Archery Range -

  • Our Committees are hard at work to establish an area where our club can setup and run a successful archery range. Our hope is that we can extend this to include archery contests for the youth and adults alike.

Prescott Daze - September 2008

  • We will be heavily involved in Prescott Daze 2008.  We have agreements to be involved at Churchill Market on Friday, at the downtown dance on Friday night, Saturday Involvement, as well as our second parade float on Sunday.
